Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Provides individual and group trauma treatment to children, youth, families, and adults.
- Implements trauma informed clinical practices including TF-CBT, CPT, EMDR
- Provides trauma consultation and training to staff
- Consistently utilizes PCOMS and/or trauma assessments
- Works cooperatively with other community agencies, as appropriate, and in agreement with supervisor. Provides trauma training to the community when requested.
- Volunteers to work on Center committees and/or task forces as appropriate.
- Attends mandatory in-service trainings, compliance with individualized training plan.
- Participates in supervision by coming prepared with an agenda. Reports high risk/problem cases, and utilizes a problem solving approach as well as feedback. Attends supervision at times and intervals agreed upon with supervisor.
- Submits paperwork by identified deadlines to maintain compliance.
- Maintains productivity requirements as identified by Director.
- Engages the client in the treatment process and goal-setting. Identifies risk factors including lethality. Works constructively with the client to reach agreed upon outcome, and coordinates care with internal and external providers. Maintains appropriate professional standards and provides appropriate follow-up for clients.
- Exhibits enthusiasm, courtesy, adaptability, flexibility, and spirit of cooperation in the work environment.
- Maintains effective interpersonal relations with clients, peers, subordinates, upper management, visitors and the general public.
- Effectively responds to client needs, initiates and maintains positive interactions, timely response to phone calls, email and other requests.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- LCSW, LPC, LMFT or comparable Colorado state license required
- Master’s Degree (from accredited University/College) required.
- Two or more years related experience providing trauma treatment including evidence-based practices such as TF-CBT, CPT, EMDR and other trauma specific modalities.
- Basic computer skills required.
Salary & Benefits:
Grade 52-Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
- $54,000 to $68,800
- Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
- Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.
