Job Overview
Utah Valley University is seeking a program assistant to assist the Behavioral Science department. Under the direction of the director and associate director of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, the program assistant will assist to facilitate daily and weekly administrative duties. This includes but is not limited to: record keeping, scheduling, event planning, conducting routine correspondence, and collaborating with program leadership. This is a part-time position, and applicants can expect to work 5-10 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Knowledge of the CMHC program
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of basic communication skills and computer operations
- Knowledge of UVU’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program
Skills:
- Skills in computer operation (Microsoft Teams)
- Good organizational skills.
- Skills in scheduling
- Strong interpersonal skills
Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to interact respectfully with people from varied backgrounds.
- Ability to use computers and computer software proficiently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in administrative support positions or analogous positions is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Physical ability to use computers, type, and make phone calls.
