LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER – MOBILE CRISIS
F/T DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center has career opportunities for Licensed Clinical Social Workers in our Inpatient Psychiatry Mobile Crisis Unit.
Duties:
- The LCSW will provide professional casework services to patients and family members with social and or personal problems related to their illness, hospitalization, and readjustment to the community.
- Provide group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention and client advocacy.
- Monitor, evaluate and record client progress with respect to treatment goals.
- Counsel clients to assist them in dealing with mental illness.
Requirements:
- LCSW required.
- Previous inpatient clinical experience in a hospital setting/CPEP, and or in a mobile crisis unit, and or discharge planning strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced, high volume setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. PC Proficiency required.
