Job Description:

Primary Children’s Outpatient Fetal Clinic. The Utah Fetal Center at Primary Children’s Hospital is excited to add another talented medical social worker to our center! This is an opportunity for an engaged social worker, passionate about maternal care to join a team that seeks to support patients and families throughout their pregnancy. Through collaborative work with physicians and other members of the health care team, this role will improve the health of patients with complex needs through comprehensive assessments, brief solution focused intervention, connection to resources and psychosocial support. We are a multidisciplinary team who provides high quality care by facilitating communication, coordinating services, addressing barriers and promoting optimal allocation of resources while balancing clinical quality and cost management.

Position Details:

This position will work at the Primary Children’s Eccles Outpatient Fetal Clinic. Shifts are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Nights, weekends, and holidays are not required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Social Work. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.

Current State Licensure as a CSW or LCSW

Basic computer skills and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to exercise critical thinking skills.
