Serene Psychotherapy is hiring a part-time private practice clinician
Serene Psychotherapy is a private practice offering therapy and neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents and adults (ages 12+) in Westchester and NYC. The practice is currently seeking a part-time, fee-for-service New York State Licensed clinician (Psychologist, LCSW or LMHC) to hire around September 2022.

Areas of specialization include: AD/HD and executive dysfunction, learning disorders, women’s mental health (PMADs and fertility issues), mood and anxiety disorders, relationship concerns, perfectionism, and career/academic transitions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• This is a part-time, fee-for-service therapy position
• Additional clinical hours can be provided if desired, including neuropsych evaluations for those who are qualified to administer assessments.
• Flexible schedule – work around your needs to ensure optimal work/life balance
• Fully remote (can offer in person opportunities if preferred)
• 18-month contract (start date flexible, between August – Sept 1st, 2022)

Compensation/Benefits

• Compensation is competitive, with a bonus and incentive structure
• Opportunities for promotion and comp increase following 18-month contract
• The clinician who fills this role will be encouraged to take his/her/their clinical caseload upon completion of the contract to begin their own private practice
• Paid training to obtain NYS requirement of CE credits
• Individual and group supervision with Licensed Clinical Psychologists
• Training in private practice management and professional marketing is an integral component of this position

Preferred qualifications: Soon-to-be or newly NY-state Licensed Psychologists. School psychology doctoral graduates who are eager to gain private practice experience are strongly encouraged to apply. LMHCs or LCSWs will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to CBT, DBT, and/or ACT and be interested in advancing their training in CBT and other third-wave approaches.
