Job Overview
Victory Recovery Partners is looking for a social worker to join our rapidly growing team.
The MSW is responsible for providing group and individual counseling to program clients. The MSW will work with the case management staff and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement treatment plans for clients with history of substance abuse.
Responsibilities and Duties
The MSW is expected to:
- *Assess program clients and participate in a comprehensive evaluation of each client to screen for substance abuse history/issues. *Document, implement and update the treatment and/or individual service plan for clients as assigned. Knowledge of OASAS 822 regulations and documentation requirements. *Write Daily progress notes, maintain all documentation requirements in a timely manner. *Facilitate group counseling sessions. Experience in didactic educational group presentation a plus. *Conduct individual counseling sessions. *Participate in quality assurance review as required by program management. *Plan and facilitate aftercare with community based providers. *Identify and develop relationships with community based providers. Background in Case Management a plus – strong knowledge of community resources. *Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- *Master’s of Social Work, required. *Two years’ experience working with clients with history of alcohol or substance abuse (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Based on credentials and experience.
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation depends on your experience.
