Lifeways is currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist to join the Child and Adolescent Team at our outpatient office, located in Ontario, OR. We are very interested in providers with family therapy experience and/or providers interested in participating in evidence-based practice training in order to provide family-based interventions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under general supervision, assess client needs and function level.
- Screen clients for program eligibility and conduct comprehensive evaluations resulting in a DSM IV diagnosis.
- Develop treatment plans for clients which include delivery of appropriate services as defined in the detailed treatment plan.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling and education and support to clients and families, skills training, and outreach to client homes.
- Provide family-based interventions and/or participate in training to provide family interventions such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
- Provide individualized case management to clients.
- Act as liaison and provide consultation, education, and information to community agencies that routinely come in contact with individuals with mental or emotional disturbances.
- Adhere to best practice guidelines regarding training, certification, and fidelity for specific programming.
- Make appropriate referrals.
- Assist with program planning activities.
- May provide consultation for chemical dependency problems, education, and training for other program staff and community agencies and groups.
- May provide a clinical review of work by other clinicians or subcontracted programs.
- Must ensure compliance with federal, state, and interagency regulations.
- Model and enforce Lifeways’ policies and procedures in a fair manner.
- Must model the culture of excellent customer service as adapted by Lifeways, as well as Lifeways Mission Statement and Core Values.
- May perform other duties and special assignments as assigned.
