Cognitive Development Centers of Seaside Healthcare is seeking a Mental Health Technician to join the Louisiana – Home and Community Based Services (LA-HCBS) team.

A Mental Health Technician (MHT) provides Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) to children and adults with mental or behavioral health needs for the purpose of improving an individual’s mental health or to treat illness. Services are provided in the home, school, and community setting.
Qualifications needed:
- Minimum – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a MAJOR in the field of:
Rehabilitation Services, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Secondary Education, Family and Consumer Science, or Human Growth and Development
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a MINOR in the field of
Social Work (registry with SW board required), Psychology, Sociology, Counseling,
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
