• Improve the lives of children, adolescents, adults and families
• Provide a thorough intake assessment for individuals and families seeking outpatient therapy
• Develop treatment plans that account for strengths, barriers and needs
• Document a clear problem statement, treatment goals and objectives in collaboration with the individual and/or family
• Completes required documentation and authorization of services
• Assigns individual/family to appropriate therapist or psychiatrist.
• Full-time position – 40 hour work week with 28 billable hours
• Mix of day and evening hours (3 evenings per week)

A Lancaster based outpatient mental health clinic is looking for a Full-Time mental health professional to conduct thorough intake assessments for new referrals to our programs in both York and Dauphin county.

Our Ideal Mental Health Intake Therapist…

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or other Human Services related field
• Licensure preferred but not required (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
• Experience providing intake assessments and/or outpatient therapy
• Working knowledge of the DSM 5 and ability formulate diagnosis and write treatment plans
• Excellent writing skills
• Detailed, organized and timely with paperwork
• Willing to travel to our offices in Dauphin and York County
