Job Overview
The Mental Health Specialist (Licensed Social Worker) is responsible for working with children and families in our center based preschool program. The specialist takes an active part in role-modeling and supporting teachers in classrooms and implements the Second Step Curriculum for S/E Development in all Preschool Classrooms. The Mental Health Specialist is also responsible for complying with the Head Start Mental Health performance standards.
