Director Behavioral Health Service Operations
Location – Eastern Time zone/Remote

Oversees all programs within the scope of their business area. Develops relationships with the customer and leverages those relationships for new and expanded opportunities.
Primary duties may include, but not limited to:
- Accountable for member services and may also be accountable for adjustments, provider database, provider service and member service for local group membership.
- Promote continuous quality improvement throughout the organization.
- Lead re-engineering and other organizational improvements designed to increase efficiency, improve service and strengthen departmental relationships.
- Establish plans to enhance operational collaboration and shared goals in order to achieve a high-performing, cross-functional team.
- Identify and address root causes and primary trends in order to initiate plans for correction and improvements.
- Supports business acquisition in bid preparation and implementation of new contracts.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates the performance of direct reports.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Requires a BS/BA and a minimum of 10 years related healthcare operations experience; a minimum of 3 years of management experience in managing or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Master’s degree
- Professional license – LCSW, MSW, LPC, LCMHC or similar
Preferred Qualifications
- Program or project management experience with mental health support programs
