Supporting Bright Stars is looking for Developmental, Speech Language Pathology, Occupational, and/or Physical Therapists to join the team!
Responsibilities
- Work with infants and toddlers who have developmental disabilities or delays, and their families
- Services include direct service, parent/caregiver training, developmental screening/assessment, and collaborative consultation with other providers
- Provide developmentally-appropriate services to children with special needs and their families in order to meet goals identified in the family’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Able and willing to commute to families’ home, preschools, and other community settings.
- Education across Early Childhood or Early Childhood / Special Education, Child and Family Development, Family Life Specialist, Communication Sciences, Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Behavior Analysis, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, School Psychology, or Social Work, others may qualify as well.
- 1+ years of professional experience in coaching and consulting with caregivers, as well as hands on experience working with special needs children birth to 5 years old
