Behavioral Health Counselor with Sign on bonus

The counselor position is responsible for providing therapeutic care to child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients during their acute inpatient hospitalization stay.  Eligible licenses include LCSW, LICSW, and LMHC. Southcoast provides a comprehensive package of benefits for our Counselor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Completion of psychosocial assessments
• Participation in multi-disciplinary rounds, treatment team, and departmental meetings
• Care coordination with the patient’s community providers
• Facilitating individual/family/systems meetings
• Treatment planning/updates
• Leading clinical process groups
• Crisis intervention and debriefing with patients
• Managing the discharge and continued care planning process
• Maintaining documentation of all service provision
