Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Participate as a member of clinical/administrative teams to plan, develop and implement services to individuals
- Collaborate with families, guardians, funding sources and other stakeholders about clinical and other treatment issues
- Train and support clinical team as assigned
- Design and supervise the implementation of trainings to develop the clinical skills of managers, supervisors and direct care staff
- Design and supervise the implementation of data systems to measure effects of treatment interventions
- Provide group and individual therapy
- Evaluate prospective clients for care in conjunction with the Clinical Director, or designee
- Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Develop individual behavior management and Positive Behavior Support (PBS) plans
- Develop procedures to teach social, interpersonal and relationship skills
- Monitor implementation of behavior management and PBS plans
- Provide individual and group behavior therapy
- Maintain current approval of treatment plans by all relevant committees and agencies
- Document treatment progress
- Provide and interpret data to psychiatrists to facilitate decisions about psychotropic medication.
Qualifications:
- Masters of Social Work (LCSW, LICSW preferred)
- Masters Degree in a related field of study, required
- Applied Behavior Analysis, preferred
- Completed CBT or DBT Training, preferred
- Clinical work with people with Intellectual Disabilities, minimum one year exp. required
- Sex Abuser treatment, preferred
