Summary of Job:

Under the administrative and clinical supervision of the Program Manager for Housing Services, the Clinical Supervisor consistently demonstrates a high-level of clinical performance, leadership, organizational skills, and abilities promoting a departmental culture of excellence. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical oversight for Housing Services staff and the services they provide.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides clinical supervision to assigned staff. Regular and reliable attendance is required. Demonstrates a high-level of clinical knowledge and skill in providing face-to-face, telephonic, electronic, and chat-based clinical supervision. Provides clinical oversight and approvals for pre-certification requests, unified care plans, behavioral contracting, continued stay reviews and discharge plans submitted by staff. Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with accrediting bodies. Demonstrates knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs/services and other community resources. Promotes a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other cross-functional departments, community agencies, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the public at large. Attends team meetings, in-service trainings, supervision, and other quality assurance trainings. Responsible for providing clinical consultation to non-assigned staff in the absence of the Program Manager for Housing Services. Provides quality assurance measures in monitoring assigned Housing Services staff. Responsible for reporting any staff or program concerns/issues to the Program Manager for Housing Services. Assists in planning staff meetings, clinical staff trainings, and staff development functions. Provides face-to-face clinical supervision to staff as needed. Assists in administrative tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications:

Master’s degree and Professional License in a related field of counseling, psychology, or social work. 1-3 years of experience providing clinical screenings, crisis intervention services, conducting clinical intake assessments or providing clinical supervision. Responsive to supervisory guidance. Ability to function as a team player working effectively in a Housing Services team environment.
