Job Overview

Program:
Crisis Stabilization Services (CSS) provides support for individuals through an Acute Treatment Unit and Withdrawal Management (Detox). CSS understands the needs of our customers to struggle with both mental health issues and substance use disorders. We provide individual counseling, medication monitoring, case management, group counseling, withdrawal management, and discharge and after care planning.

Position Summary:
With a Customer First and Compassionate approach, Behavioral Health Workers will:

  • Teach and demonstrate life skills that assist clients in their recovery or movement toward increased independence.
  • Assist in the client admission process including orientation, training, and other activities to maximize clients’ positive adjustment to the setting.
  • Function as a member of the facility safety team by assisting in the monitoring of compliance with all safety regulations and by participating in the ongoing orientation and training of clients in all emergency response procedure.
  • Use de-escalation, seclusion, and/or restraint techniques, when necessary, in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Collaborate with supervisory staff to assure clients comply with program rules, guidelines, and directives while they participate in all aspects of daily living and treatment within the facility.

 

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets with hiring requirements as set forth for someone that must transport customers/program participants.
  • Medication Aide Certification required (QMAP) (training offered post hire)

 

 

Experience:

  • No experience REQUIRED; We LOVE to train. (If you have some, that is GREAT)

 

Nice to Have, Monetary Incentives Available:

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking DESIRED

 

Additional Eligibility requirements, as required by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE):

  • Annual Flu Vaccine
  • COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Annual TB testing may be required
