Job Overview
The County of Riverside’s Riverside University Health System- Arlington Campus seeks two Behavioral Health Specialists II (BHS II) for the MH Acute (Unit B). Ideally this employee should have a background in working with the mentally ill and have effective communication skills.

Professionalism, communication, crisis stabilization, patient advocacy, critical thinking, resource allocation.
The incumbent will have a caseload to help care for complex chronic health conditions, behavioral health, and provide care coordination with an integrated care team. Under supervision, the incumbent will team with mental health professionals in planning and providing mental health services; provide general counseling, case management, and community services and do other work as required. Incumbents in this classification will team with behavioral health professionals in the provision of consumer treatment, directly assist clients in the utilization of appropriate community resources, and provide education and information to the community.
Work Schedule: 7am to 7 pm and one eight hour shift 6, 12, 8
