- Provides in-service training for caseworkers.
- Assigns cases to caseworkers.
- Conducts audits and reviews the progress of all current cases.
- Directs the development of case management plans.
- Ensures that necessary data is collected.
- Ensures that reports are properly prepared.
- Responds to clients’ appeals. If unable to resolve, refers appeals to Assistant Director or Director.
- Acts as a resource for staff questions regarding difficult cases, office policies, and procedures.
- Makes recommendations on personnel matters which may include interviewing, hiring, taking disciplinary action, terminating, and resolving employee disputes.
- Approves leave, provides new hire training, and monitors current licensing.
- Serves as a liaison between Human Services and the courts, social services agencies, and other professional disciplines.
- Evaluates employee performance and formulates plans for improvement.
- Provides coverage and ancillary support for staff absences.
- Assists in the absence of the supervisor.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
TO APPLY, must have Two (2) full-time years of casework experience in financial eligibility.
TO APPLY, must be a licensed Social Worker (Note: LCDC license not accepted).
