Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare

Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare has served Nassau County and the surrounding communities since 1992, when it opened under the name Nassau County Mental Health, Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council, Inc. We are a private not-for-profit agency providing outpatient psychiatric treatment, mental health counseling and substance abuse treatment. SPBH is accredited by CARF, the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission. In 2012, CARF granted Starting Point its three year accreditation, marking the fifth straight time it has been re-accredited by the national organization.
