MISSION STATEMENT
We believe that those with Substance-Use Disorders can find long-term and meaningful recovery. Our mission is to assist and support individuals and families by treating addiction and mental health in new and innovative ways.
Our vision at Mpower Wellness is to ensure the delivery of the highest quality, culturally competent, trauma informed, individualized, cost-effective array of Outpatient treatment services to adult clients aimed at alleviating medical, emotional, and behavioral distress resulting from the use of alcohol or other drugs.
PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY
At Mpower Wellness, we believe that recovery is more than just abstinence from drugs and alcohol. Recovery enables one to enjoy life without drinking or using and to live a meaningful life. Active addicts and alcoholics are cut off from their families, communities, and even their physical selves. Therefore, treatment at Mpower Wellness is geared towards integration and connection. We utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), in conjunction with, holistic practices (e.g. yoga and meditation) and 12 Step facilitation to help the client find relief from the chronic stress of addiction. Only then will he/she be able to maintain sobriety and reconnect with family and friends and discover the things that afford a sense of well-being, meaning, and purpose.
