The Therapist is responsible for conducting screening, evaluation, assessment, and treatment to children and adults in need of services. Persons in this position will conduct diagnostic assessments and provide individual, family, and group therapy. They must work closely with the client’s physician, other clinical staff, and community agencies. This position requires the ability to work in a mutually respectful partnership with clients. A working knowledge of practical application of supportive therapeutic approaches, group dynamics, and family dynamics is required. They may be required to attend and participate in meetings on behalf of the company and the client.
A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a human service field and licensure by the state of North Carolina is required (associate level or fully licensed).
