Job Overview
With our Agency’s mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located at 106 Springview Lane, Summerville, SC 29485.
Under limited supervision, will provide mental health counseling and case management services to child and adolescent patients open to the Charleston Dorchester Mental Health Center within DD2 schools. Services to be provided in the clinics and community settings.
Expectation of meeting patients where they are (physically; at home, or in the community) to include safety in the field training.
State Minimum Requirements: A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.
Agency (DMH) Minimum Requirements: A master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited program, university, or college in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or other behavioral discipline deemed equivalent by SCDMH and (1) one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical counseling program.
